Smallest of all North Shore areas, Kenilworth Illinois is a well established and picturesque North Shore Suburb just North of Wilmette. Everything is within a one square mile – the lakefront, train and elementary school. In Kenilworth you will see some of the most magnificent homes in the country, the majority which were built in the early 1900’s and the late 1940’s.
Students attend Kenilworth’s public School District 38, with its only school - The Joseph Sears Elementary School – commonly known as Sears. The school was named after the founder of the village and runs from junior kindergarten through 8th grade. High School students attend award winning New Trier High School District 203 in nearby Winnetka. Commuters have a short drive to O’Hare airport and to the Edens Expressway.
